Biography: Elia Dyitege
Founder And Visionary
Visionaries Behind MJF
Elia Dyitege is a passionate social advocate and the founder of Mountain of Joy Foundation in Arusha, Tanzania. His vision is to improve the quality of life for children and young people with autism and other cognitive challenges by promoting awareness, care, and equal opportunities within the community.
Inspired by his experiences working with vulnerable children and volunteering with organizations supporting disadvantaged families, Elia dedicated his life to serving children with disabilities. In 2018, he founded Mountain of Joy Foundation to provide support, education, and empowerment for children with autism and their families.
Through his leadership, the foundation has grown from a small initiative supporting a few children into a community organization helping many families access therapy, education, and opportunities for a better future.
Elia believes that every child deserves love, dignity, and the chance to live a fulfilling life regardless of their challenges.
